We are conveniently located for all the major attractions of the Lot and Dordogne and within a 20 minute drive to the A20 Paris/Toulouse motorway.

Maison Les Chandelles lies between the towns of Gourdon and Souillac and within each town there is a bank, post office, tourist information centre and supermarkets, some are open on a Sunday morning.

Both towns hold weekly markets – Souillac on Friday & Gourdon on Saturday

Horse riding can be found nearby in Souillac and canoeing at Quercyland Souillac – 12.5km

Souillac Golf & Country Club is only a 26 minute drive (21km) and is set in the middle of an oak forest, it is an 18 hole course with panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Golf Club De Montal is an approximate 53 minute drive, 9 holes with magnificent views over nearby villages and Chateaux de Montal
